Adesys Keeps IT Systems Running Smoothly For Wisconsin's Businesses

By Pamela Sosnowski

Entrepreneur Jason Adamany has always loved fixing problems, particularly pertaining to technology. That passion, along with his college dream to build his own company is what inspired him to launch Adesys, his technology consulting business, out of his Madison apartment in the late '90s. Today, Adesys (the name was an abbreviated version of his original idea, Adamany Designed Systems) is based in Fitchburg and has grown to serve more than 350 clients throughout Wisconsin.

"I started Adesys in January 1997," he says. "Operating top performing technology has a lot of inherent risks and it is satisfying to overcome those challenges that reduce technology risks for our clients. I have great passion for building this business and working together with my team."

Adamany's first client base consisted of local movie theaters, thanks to networking with his brother and father, who owned several movie theaters throughout Wisconsin and Iowa. After growing the business to include over 40 movie theaters and traveling to work with clients across the country, Adamany married his high school sweetheart in 2002 and settled on Fitchburg as the home base for his firm. Adesys is still a family-owned and operated business; Adamany works alongside his brother on a daily basis and expects that his children will have an interest in starting their own businesses one day.

Adesys provides a wide range of IT services including hardware and software products, equipment installation, managed service programs, web design and development services, and perhaps most importantly, 24/7 support.

"We offer 24/7 support because if we didn't, we wouldn't be in business," Adamany explains. "Our client base is made up of over 350 businesses with varying needs. Even our clients that don't run three shifts still expect 24 hour access to functioning technology. They rely on email, inventory management systems, CRM and the like. When those systems need support, we are on it."

For the past four years the company has been voted as a top local IT consultant and local website services company by InBusiness Magazine's survey of area executives, attesting to the company's commitment to service.

Adamany is a big believer in supporting and giving back to the Fitchburg area community and as a result, Adesys is heavily involved in several local foundations and non-profits. "I had good role models growing up. My parents were big believers in volunteering and giving back to the community they lived in. We regularly volunteer for community events that raise funds for various charities and have fun doing so. Health, children and education are some of our favorite causes to support. Community support is good for our soul, good for the community and good for business."

Recently the company partnered with one of their clients to donate refurbished PCs and technology resources to Madison's Mt. Zion Academic Learning Center.

As Adesys has continued to grow, so have the testimonials from satisfied customers. "I remind my staff that we strive to 'wow' our customers every time they interact with us," says Adamany. "It is a gratifying feeling to know that we have a significant impact on keeping the technical operations of our customers at top performance and rewarding when they recognize that and refer their business associates to us for their IT needs."
