Estate Sales, Liquidations, & Appraisals of Your Treasures

By Anne Neafie

Tell us a little bit about your company and its foundation.

Golden Transitions specializes in helping seniors & those making a move to a smaller residence (i.e. condo, vacation home, condo, senior living)and cannot bring many years worth of accumulations with them. We also work with executors or with descendents in home liquidation as a part of settling an estate.

Often my clients have family living elsewhere or family lacks the time to devote to planning an estate sale to empty the home. This is where my staff and I can fit in to assist in expediting and simplifying the process by taking the time consuming chores of organizing, pricing, advertising, and implementing a sale generally within a few weeks.

Our goal is to take the stress & anxiety out of moving from home to next chapter in their lives by being the focal point for all aspects of the transition process.

What is a list of reasons someone should appraise their home?

  • Moving to smaller residence due to many different reasons
  • Family doesn't have time to help in liquidation or move process
  • Family lives out of state
  • No family

How are home appraisers paid?

Estate sales compensation is based on percentage of sale proceeds; No up-front money

How long does an appraisal take?

Set up for sale is 1-2 days. Estate sale is 1-3 days

What is the best way for people to reach you and or your company?

Via phone, email or through "Contact Us" on my website, .http://www.goldentransitionsllc.com
