Html Code (Copy and Paste to your site)
Usually the easiest way to add our link to your site is to place it in an area you commonly update, such as a blog or news section. If you update your site regularly in such a way, just cut and paste the HTML above into your next posting! If you don't make updates to your site frequently, don't worry! Many of our partners are unfamiliar with how to add a link to their website. Below are some helpful hints to get you started:
All websites have some type of administrator login which allows the site owner to make updates to the content on the website. You will need to have a login and password to access this administrator area. If you do not have this information, you can usually acquire it from the person or company who created your website.
When you access the area for updating content on your website you will typically have a "What you see is what you get" (WYSIWYG) editor. This is a simple interface that allows you to make edits to content, much like you would with a Microsoft Word document. You have two options at this point. The first is to create your own link. For example, if you have decided to put your link into a blog posting, you could type something like: "We were recently featured on Wisconsin Real Estate. You can view the full article here." In this case, you would then want to highlight the words "Wisconsin Real Estate" and create a link by clicking on the link icon (circled in the image below). Click on the icon, and when prompted, enter the address of our site. You could also highlight the words "full article here" and create a link directly to the article page.
If you would simply like to cut and paste the HTML we've provided above, you will need to use the HTML editor, rather than the WYSIWYG editor. Don't worry, it's just as easy! Simply click on the HTML button (also circled in the image above). Copy the HTML in the box above, and paste it into the editor. Done!
